SMS Policy

Last updated: March 8, 2026

1. How Do End Users Consent to Receive Messages?

End users opt in to receive SMS messages from Fractional Tools only after they create an account and complete account verification/login (including passcode verification, if enabled). SMS is not enabled by default. The user must initiate the SMS enrollment process. We do not automatically enroll users in SMS. SMS consent is optional and is not required to use the service.

Opt-in Methods

Electronic opt-in (in-app): The only method of opt-in is through our web application. The user must sign in, go to Account Settings → Notifications, choose to enable SMS notifications, enter and verify their phone number, and select the specific message categories they want (for example: daily metrics updates, weekly summaries, reminders, and account alerts). The opt-in flow is behind login and requires explicit, manual consent.

2. Privacy and Data Protection

Your mobile phone number is collected solely for the purpose of sending you the SMS notifications you have requested. We do not sell, rent, share, or distribute your phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. Opt-in consent and phone numbers are not shared with third parties. Your phone number is stored securely and used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these SMS terms.

3. Message Content and Links

The only embedded links in our SMS messages are links back to the user's own Fractional.Tools account. We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the user's selected message categories and account activity.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. How to Opt Out

Users can opt out at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message—all messages include the option to STOP, and users can remove consent via the SMS message itself.
  • Disabling SMS notifications in Account Settings → Notifications.
  • Turning off individual message categories in the app without fully disabling SMS.
